I support the one hour parking signs on the East side and West side of the street on Citrus. How does a business get to park their vehicles that need to be fixed on a residential street? The cars parked on the West side of the street is a bigger problem than the cars parked on the East side. While the residents of Citrus St appreciate the Traffic Commission putting a 1 hour parking sign on the East side of the street, this is only a band-aid to the real problem which is the West side of the street. I sent the city a request for both sides of the street to get 1 hour parking signs but Mr. Allenbach only contacted the two businesses (which by the way has their own parking lots) and did not contact any of the residents on Citrus St that are being affected by this accident waiting to happen. Please consider putting 1 hour parking signs on both sides of the street, we have Mayor Slater and Council Member Jon D both agreeing with us.
