I am assuming that the support for this measure is based on city resources or lack of-but has a study been conducted on how other cities are successful enforcing no fireworks and fiscal impact?
Has a study with professionals about animal safety been conducted? The negative impact on animals?
Has a study been conducted with professionals about impact of individuals suffering from PTSD and loud firework noises?
I have reached out to my representatives with no or little support on each and every July 4th. I live on S Orange St where they s block is issued a permit for a block party every year even with repeated calls to OFD and OPD for the use of illegal and legal fireworks. Can the permit system be linked to OPD & OFD July 4th reports of calls? No permits should be issued with prior calls to OPD for firework violations. The permit holder should be held liable for fines if anyone of the block is reported using fireworks that are not permitted. Please consider this. Thank you

I do not support this item for multiple reasons.
