I do ask Commissioners to further explore examples of why city projects wouldn't want to comply with Chapter 17? A claim of hypocrisy can be clearly made. It means our projects can skip following the zoning code but expect all applicants and property owners to follow it. Isn't there a better way? I find it best to be good rule followers and be the example instead implementing projects that fail to follow proper planning rules and process.
