    I like the ideas for teaching about how the creek is and was a part of our history such as the submerged dam, the flood that wiped out the roadway, and the role of Latinos in the area. I see opportunities to use historic assets and supporting materials as the basis for field trips for school kids, local history programs, and fundraising.
