2. PUBLIC COMMENTS
At this time, members of the public may address the Council on matters not listed on the agenda within the subject matter jurisdiction of the City Council, provided that NO action may be taken on off-agenda items unless authorized by law. Public Comments are limited to three (3) minutes per speaker unless a different time limit is announced.
No OPD/city department collaborations or data sharing with ICE
Require ID, no masks, and marked vehicles for all ICE & federal agents
Implement a community alert system prior to and during ICE activity
Provide funding and resources for legal aid and emergency assistance
Support for mutual aid collection and distribution
Offer regular "Know Your Rights" (KYR) workshops
Centralize printable information for families and businesses about community services, resources, & KYR on the city website
