Why the council put on the ballot making fireworks legal in the city is beyond ridiculous. You claim to support veterans, but this says otherwise. Fireworks cause PTSD to worsen. Fireworks cause pets to bolt and get hit by cars. Fireworks are a fire danger in a state that now has year-round fire season. Fireworks are horrible for the environment. But why would you care about all of this? You should but you don't and everyone pays for your poor decisions.
