As a resident directly across the street from this large project - I would respectfully ask that signage facing MAPLE AVENUE be lit ONLY by uplighting or backlighting that is timed to go off after closing. Sign Lighting facing residential properties needs to be as subtle and unobtrusive as possible. Page 10 of the Sign Program provides several examples of Old Towne commercial signage that uses neon or tube lighting. None of that is appropriate on the Maple Avenue building frontage.
Of the signs shown in this deck, only the Ojai Burger is appropriate in terms of how the signage is lit.
Thank you

I live on Maple Street and would ask the DRC to deny any illuminated signage on Maple Street please!
