    This street has become increasingly populated due to apartment/condos across the bridge parking their cars on this stretch of Fairmont Way and leaving them overnight and sometimes for days. Parking for our own family is pretty much down the street a block away. The permit parking would help this situation immensely. Thank you.

    I support the permitting on this area due to the parking associated with the apartments to the west of the 55 freeway. Thx

    Most importantly, this is a safety issue. Because of the number of vehicles on the streets, visibility is poor. Many kids walk to La Veta Elementary School past this street. Many people speed down La Veta going over the 55 freeway. There is an inordinate number of intersection collisions at Yorba and La Veta. The number of street-parked vehicles has to be a contributing factor.

    Street parking on this portion of South Fairmont Way is nearly impossible at certain times of the week, leading to people parking along the street corners (onto La Veta Ave) and on the curbs. Homeowners are not able to access parking in front of their homes due to residents from the apartments west of the 55 (on E Fairway Dr), construction workers/residents from The Orion (new multi-family housing), Santiago Creekside Estates, and apparent auto garage being operated out of a home and ADU at 510 S Fairmont Way). At all hours of the night they are repairing vehicles with very loud exhaust and completely disrupting what has been a quiet neighborhood for the 25+ years I've lived here.
