Please introduce and pass this ordinance, the city has numerous vacant locations where the property owners are purposely not keeping them up because they either don't care about the community and or are too cheap to keep up on the maintenance. These business owners don't care about the city and should be fined. These properties create a public nuisance. Thank you for your time.
Hello council, please pass this ordinance, The old mall of Orange, specifically Sears and JC Pennys are a perfect example of why this ordinance should move forward and be put in place. The neighborhood residents have been constantly talking to the mayor and other city officials about how these abandoned property owners fail to clean up, keep up and maintain the properties. Code Enforcement has worked diligently to help the residents but need the tools necessary to enforce the violations. No one wants unsightly properties in their neighborhoods they create eye sores and bring more problems. Please consider moving this ordinance forward.
