I wanted to officially express my opposition to making the street permit-only parking.
There are multiple apartment units in the Culver and Bedford areas that rely on the available street parking. Restricting these spaces to permit holders would significantly reduce the number of available parking spaces and create an even bigger parking problem for residents who depend on street parking.
We already have limited parking in the area, and removing these spaces from general public use would make it more difficult for residents and others to find parking.
I respectfully ask that you reconsider the proposal to implement permit-only parking on Alpine Road. We need more available parking in our neighborhood, not fewer spaces.
